My favorite Simon and Garfunkel song. Of all times.
Lyrics:
April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain;
May, she will stay,
Resting in my arms again
June, she´ll change her tune,
In restless walks she´ll prowl the night;
July, she will fly
And give no warning to her flight.
August, die she must,
The autumn winds blow chilly and cold;
September I´ll remember.
A love once new has now grown old.
Last stanza reminds me of Poe's "Annabel Lee."
ReplyDeleteOf all times. I like this song.
ReplyDeletePerhaps my favorite part of this video is when the lyrics first begin, the picture of Simon and Garfunkel with Simon looking like a 70s pimp and Garfunkel looking like his cell-mate. It pops so suddenly!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteThat is CLASSIC.
